You'll notice Hero's new Xoom 110 immediately. Its sharp angles and sporty vibe stand out in the crowded scooter market. Its starting price of ₹72,284 (ex-showroom) makes it pretty tempting for budget-conscious riders. Hero clearly aims it at younger buyers wanting style without breaking the bank.

Design That Grabs Attention

Hero nailed the looks here. That angular bodywork and faux air vents give it modern street look. In the front we have the H-shaped LED daytime running lights which look fantastic. The rear follows suit with matching LED treatment. Higher trims even get projector headlamps and if you ask me honestly it's one of Hero's best designs lately.

The ZX variant packs Bluetooth connectivity so that your phone pairs with the digital console for navigation and call alerts. There's also a USB charger which is super handy if you always forget to charge your phone at home.

Hero Xoom 110: Ride and Efficiency

It comes with a 110.9cc engine pushing 8.05bhp. It feels peppy enough for city commutes and surprisingly the ride stays composed over bumps because it has telescopic forks and a monoshock. Those 12-inch alloy wheels add stability too. In combat edition we have a disc-drum combo. It claims to have a fuel efficiency of 53.4 kmpl. Hero's i3S tech helps auto-killing the engine when bike stops and resume when brake is removed which helps in saving petrol during traffic halts. The 5.2-litre tank give enough petrol so you can reach your destination easily.

Practicality Shortfalls

Storage in Hero Xoom is not much appreciating because the under-seat space won't fit a half-face helmet. I mean as a responsible Indian I always want my helmet with me so i need to carry it with me. Even a stuffed backpack struggles to properly fit there. Foot area also lacks space which keeps your feet in an uncomfortable position while riding. Forget carrying big grocery bags or cylinders.

There’s no remote seat opener, so you keep using the key every time. There’s no external fuel cap either—every time you want petrol, you must get off the bike. And a parking brake would have been helpful too. These little missing features may seem unimportant, but they add up and feel outdated.

Pricing and Alternatives

Delhi's on-road price starts at ₹87,977. Seven variants exist, including LX, VX, ZX, and Combat editions. EMIs begin around ₹2,537/month. Compare it to the Honda Activa 6G, priced higher at ₹91,865 ex-showroom. The Activa offers slightly more storage.

This scooter charms with style and efficiency. But storage flaws and missing features hurt daily usability. If you prioritize looks and mileage over practicality, it's worth a look. Just test that under-seat space first!
